Studio Advanced Placement Art

AP Studio Art is not an option for short-term students, rather it is designed for students in the Graduation Program who have an interest in pursuing the visual arts at the post-secondary level.

Entry into the program is conditional on instructor approval.

As a College Board course, students are expected to work towards the preparation of a portfolio of work that will be presented to the College Board for evaluation and subsequent credit.

According to the College Board, the portfolios expect the students to demonstrate a depth of investigation and process of discovery through Concentration, Breadth and Quality.
